This chick makes me smile.
Sydney is one of my greatest friends. I happened to end up living with her and her family a few years ago while I was going to school. Walker Moore would say the odds were 100% - I believe him. Her home was the second of two options I had visited & when I walked in I knew it would be my second home. The house felt warm (the kind you feel in your heart - not the Florida kind) and the people were real. Sydney & I got to know each other over venting to each other about school, episodes of Friends, & every now and then, an amaretto sour or two.
After I graduated I moved out & back home. Sydney finished her two year degree and moved on to pursue her Bachelor's. In the meantime we kept our friendship strong by having movie days & sleepovers like 12-year-olds. I can't believe how fast time has gone.
Nearing her graduation day, Sydney contacted me and asked if I would do her graduation pictures. Heck yes. I was so excited & instantly started brainstorming of how we could make her memories showcase exactly who she was & how we could have a blast doing it.
So here she is in all of her awesome.
Sydney - I'm so stinkin' proud of you & I cannot believe that you're already well on your way to having your Master's. I'm so glad you asked me to be a part of your special day & I can't wait to see how you continue to change the world.
